How do people get space in op-ed? What could be the qualifications?
The article has got so much inherent flaws laced with poison and venom and there are umpteen number of assumptions and false equivalences, it totally misrepresents everything and makes a mockery out of genuine emotions of a wounded civilization which has gone through a 1000 years of violence subjugation and trauma!!
Not only that the author of this article himself is either a victim of Marxist propaganda or he is one of the perpetrators of a cultural genocide and that is a grave crime and is being continued till today! And I firmly believe he is the later! The distorted version of history similar to what this article has spewed is what children read in their school textbooks today !!
Have you ever seen an independent country which calls its very first freedom struggle as Mutiny in its textbooks ? We are the owner of that proud act and it’s called Sepoy mutiny!! It should be called Sepoy revolution isn’t it ? Aren’t we pride of our very first effort to remove oppression? But we don’t do that!! Even the present day so called BJP has not moved its finger to do anything about this in our textbooks which is a shame on them !!
The article generalizes a western Marxist view that says some of these Hindus say the India belong to only Hindus ?!?!
Who said that ?!? All his statement were loaded with tons of bias prejudice and patronization!! It will take time to unravel it one by one and please stay with me and indulge me through this in this rebuttal.
Have you ever seen a country with majority Hindus waited to reclaim on of their most sacred places for over 500 years ?!?
And finally it was done over a 120 years of legal battle?!? Is he saying that these people who waited so many years for one temple want only Hindus in India ?!?! Really ? What did they wait for ?
Can words create Numbness ?
⁃ How do we connect with pain of a family who was forced out of their own house as a sign of defeat slavery and subjugation ? How can one connect with the pain when not involved in building the house with sweat blood and emotions ?
⁃ How can one connect with the pain of losing family members in the very same fight to save the house ? Without sharing that emotion when a rich person tells them here is money you can get a bigger house and that’s it you are set!!
⁃ This is still an injustice considering it’s just a plain house of a family.
How do we explain the same when it’s not just a house it’s a temple where we have our God who we worship was desecrated ? When mere desecration is more than a material damage an emotional damage, how do you feel when the same invaders destroyed around 40,000 temples and killed millions of people and raped women and sold them as slaves in the markets so much so an entire practice of jumping into fire soon after defeat came into a societal practice called Jauhar Sati?

⁃ How do we explain when the destruction of your belief was displayed as a sign of shame there to stand in front of you, depicting the bloodshed and pain and tears of millions of people in their own homeland ? This is not a past story even today after Ram temple it’s a present day reality we have structures standing tall telling this very same story.
⁃ When confederate statues (statues of white masters who owned black slaves) where being brought down in Europe UK and US everyone celebrated in joy and victory of justice over the past atrocity. No one said this is spitting on the present day white men/women who are still alive. No one said this is an act of vengeance and vilification of present day white men/women who didn’t actually commit the crime.
⁃ But when it comes to resurrection of the very same subjugation by Turkic Mughal barbarians these very same people connect them with present day Indian muslims and call this act of vengeance ?!?! Do we connect the British atrocities with present day Indian Christian’s ? But why it’s not the same scale when it comes to Indian muslims when they don’t have anything to do with the invaders?
⁃ The Indian Muslims are very much part of this great civilization, they follow a different faith but that doesn’t take them away from being a citizen of this great civilization and culture!!
Understanding our dharma
Why is our civilization the only surviving civilization? What happened to everyone around us ?

Have we ever thought about it ?
All the other civilizations couldn’t survive the advent of Abrahmic faiths because of the construct of their civilizations and its nature, the invasions on infidels and crusades on heathens made sure that every other indigenous practices are erased and now visible only in museums.
When it comes to sanarthana dharma, we don’t have one book, one god or set of commandments to follow, there are no practices nothing of that sort.
We don’t have a concept of purity and impurity, everything and anything is accepted. The only fundamental goal of this civilization was and is to seek and attain mukthi and not to go to some God or heaven.
The essence of sanarthana dharma as per my limited understanding is it’s a way for all athmas (it includes stone, grass, garlic, worm, tree, voracious animal, bird, snake and mankind) to reach paramathma which is to attain mukthi. That’s all and it encompasses everything in the material world and its path towards liberation, the science to do this consciously is sanarthana dharma, if this is believed or not believed by one or none its the way existence works.
Hindutva or Hinduism is way of life and as I mentioned it’s all encompassing and it doesn’t mean it’s only for Hindus and probably you will refute my statement but this is what Supreme court of India also said in a 1994 court verdict , hindutuva means recognizing this country as a civilizational entity and eliminating caste identity among Hindus and to treat every religion equal that is all. This is not a new phenomena that someone recently thought about this is the way of existence in this land from time immemorial, historically this country allowed every faith and belief to thrive.
When Jews where prosecuted across the world India was the only country which gave them safe haven, so much so when Israel was formed in the first parliament session, they thanked India for being the only country to have safeguard them. Parsi’s came into India because of their persecution in Iran they were protected here in India, Syrian Christians came over when they were persecuted, and they were protected in our country and all this happened before this so called westerners coined the word called
secularism.
This was and is
“Sarva Dharma sama bhava”,

“vasudeiva kudumbakam”
the core principle of our land and our civilization.
Ours is the only living ancient civilization that has roots spanning thousands of years, the remaining civilizations were all destroyed conquered and colonized. Looks around the countries and tell me which civilization survived Egypt, Greek, Iran, America, Mexico, Newzealand, Australia, Africa?!?!
The west has to learn secularism, feminism, human rights and being eco friendly from us. This is the only country which never invaded any other country and imposed the beliefs
and tried to colonize and convert people. And the same western thought and lens is what being used on us equating Hinduism to other religions and preaching us what secularism means. The Abrahmic guilt is imposed on us, the colonizer is telling the colonized that they are abusive?!?! Seriously?!?!
We had the likes Avaiyar, Velu Nachiyar and Jhansi Rani. Women Rishikas like Romasa, Lopamudra, Apala, Kadru, Visavara, Ghosha, Juhu, Vagambhrini, Paulomi, Yami, Indrani, Savitri, and Devajami from Vedhic times till
today and this was a maternal society. We had voting rights for women enacted in the constitution as soon as we got independence we never had second thoughts about it and we perceived feminine as the very basic of existence whereas it took a 100 year struggle for women’s to get voting rights in America. But this Marxist western world view is teaching us feminism drawing false equivalence to Sabrimala !!
We regard utmost respect to mother nature and worship everything from Tree to grain of sand and the entire idea of Grihaprevasa is to assuage the living things we will be relocating/destroying during the process, our veri and Saree is of free size and we don’t have to keep buying new clothes as we go up and down in size!! And this Marxist western world view is teaching us eco friendly by drawing false equivalence to Diwali?!?! The article equates temple restoration to mere vengeance?!?!? Is there any other way you can simplify the he pain and suffering of millions of people this is the worst possible false equivalence that one can draw.
⁃ According to Islam mosque is a place of worship they don’t worship mosque they gather in mosque to worship the almighty Allah. Mosque was never sacred in Islam as that would be haram to worship anything but Allah. And a mosque cannot be constructed in a disputed land and a mosque can be moved around and it has been done continuously even in Islamic countries.
⁃ In Hinduism a temple is a sacred place where a deity is consecrated as a living energy form and there is more intricate science so as to make a temple focused on different yoga chakras , once a deity is consecrated neivadhiyam has to happen and poojas has to happen to ensure the sanctity of the temple.
⁃ Once a temple is constructed it belongs to that deity not the king or queen or builder or anyone who funded the temple, it belongs to the deity.

The Article says Colonised by Western/Semitic ideas that a religion must have an all-powerful creator, a church and a holy book, these Hindus view Hindu dharma similarly as a temple-centred religion with the Gita as the holy book.
⁃ This statement cannot be more far from the truth and it’s the quite opposite, if Gita is the holy book then why are we building a Ram temple. Because Gita is only about Krishna avatar.
⁃ Do we know Hinduism doesn’t have the process of conversion not even one slogam or practice because it fundamentally believes and respects all beliefs and that’s why we have 1000’s of God and goddess we can all worship whom we like and if we don’t like worshipping that’s also fine, even atheism is part of Hinduism from Vedic times.
⁃ There are different Darshans in Hinduism like Saivaite Vaishanvite there is something called Charvaka which is atheism and it’s very much part of the same dharma.
⁃ Vedas don’t have any God’s name mentioned in it, and there is a Darshan or a practice where God is formless.
⁃ The Chidambara ragsiyam in Chidamabarm temple is the exact indication of worshipping a formless God!!
⁃ So it someone asks what is it in there for an atheist as he/she doesn’t believe in these practices, there is only one question. Just because you don’t believe in something your ancestors believed for 1000’s of years will you let an invader use it as a toilet ? To mark denigration and imposition of their beliefs, won’t you stand up for your ancestors and their respect?!?

The article makes a larger claim that Hinduism is made to believe to be temple centered and that’s why we are building this temple, does this person know how Hindu dharma worked how it flourished and sustained I don’t see any single understanding of Hinduism but just grand statements that just shows his inherent bias and hatred towards Hindus and he speaks as if he is the know all of the dharma with assertion.
⁃ We have a saying in Tamilnadu “Kovil Illadha Ooril Kudi Irukka Vendam” meaning “don’t live in a town which doesn’t have a temple”, our temples were not only the place where we go for worship, it acted as cultural/economic/educational centers. Every town was built around a temple and there was no town or village without a temple. Our original idea of going to a temple has got immersive science behind it, we don’t go there to ask for a job a car or a girlfriend. We were asked to go to a temple to imbibe the positive energy of the moorthy that has been done prathista in that temple, as mentioned before each temple and its deity or moorthy and it pradhista is done differently to solve a particular purpose for the devotees. We have lost most of the knowledge, how can we retain it when the worlds first university “Nalanda” was destroyed and burnt, just the fire of manuscripts was burning for 6 months it seems, and do you know what we call the railway station where it is located “Bhaktiyarpur” after the barbarian “ Bhaktiyar Khilji” who burnt it, how thoughtful?
⁃ Long story short we had proper education taught to people from all sects and strata’s in and around temples. The vast knowledge base and its foundations that we see in the Vedas, Upanishads and Samhitas were all laid in the Gurukulas, Ashrams, Mutts and Pathshalas as well as the universities during the ancient and medieval India. Below are some facts from recorded history.

- Results of the survey:
- Every village in the Madras Presidency had a school/Gurukula/Pathshala.
- There were a total of 12,498 schools and colleges for a total population of 1.28 crores (precisely 1,28,50,941) in the Madras Presidency, i.e., one school for every 1,000 persons.
- Education was given in the regional language and students of all caste and religion went to school.
- The education syllabus was rich in science, literature, arts, philosophy, law, religion, grammar, poetry, drama, religious history, logic, Vedanta, textiles, statecraft, military strategy etc.
- Examples are: Gavya (poetry), Payatta (fencing), Vaidyashastra (botany and medicine), Naushastra (navigation), Chaturangam (chess), Hastiludium (use of spear on foot), Tarkashastra (logic), Jyothisha (astrology), Mauna (silence) etc.
This is one facet of why temples were important and our ancestors fought for keeping it intact. They preserved it with their lives, we don’t feel the pain of these atrocities because there are no visible scars to see in south of India and to top it off we all grew reading was Marxist propaganda.
⁃ North faced the true brunt of the invasion, over 40,000 temples destroyed in the north during invasions. There is no one grand old standing temple like what we see in south that is still there anywhere in north do we know why ??!?!? We all read about Gahjini invading us 17 times but have we ever read about him destroying Somnath temple ?!?! The Mahmud of Ghazni not only launched repeated attacks on Somnath Temple to plunder its legendary wealth but also sought to humiliate Hindus by destroying the idol of one of their most revered deities.
⁃ According to historical accounts, during his 16th raid on the Somnath Temple, he smashed and broke the idol of Lord Somnath into four pieces. After successfully subduing defenders of the Somnath Temple, Mahmud of Ghazni entered the temple, where he saw the majestic idol of Lord Somnath. On seeing the idol, anger coursed through him and he lifted his mace and attacked with such ferocity that the reportedly five yard-long idol of Lord Somnath was broken into pieces.
⁃ Two of the four fragments were taken to Ghazni (in Afghanistan); one was deposited at the threshold of the Jama Masjid of Ghazni and the other at the court door of his own palace. when the people and priests in the temple offered him all the wealth and just to leave the idol he said he would love to be called Butshikan (destroyer of idols) instead of ButParast (lover of idols) and he said he will make this into footsteps as a reminder to everyone. Al-Beruni, an Islamic scholar during the time of Mahmud of Ghazni, reiterated in his body of work that the fragments of the Somnath idol were buried inside the Jama Masjid in Ghaznin and under the entrance of the Sultan’s palace so that people would walk on it while visiting the mosque and the palace and continue to insult the idol worshippers.
⁃ Did you know that Qutub minar was built with over 27 destroyed temples around Delhi according to only the inscriptions written by the invaders who built it out of pride and the reminiscence of the temples can be seen in the monument even today and not only that the invaders in fact named the mosque there as ‘Quwwat-ul-Islam’, which means ‘Triumph of Islam’.
Probably all this doesn’t drive home the point and pain as it is still committed on the so called Vadakans which we so easily generalize and abuse while preaching social justice. So let’s look at a temple close to home probably this will invoke some sense of what we are looking at.
⁃ Did we know that 12,000 devotees gave their life protecting Srirangam Ranganthar temple ? When Ulugh Khan was marching down south to take down the temple hearing the news people gathered in front of the temple and they wanted to save the moolavar so they wanted to build a wall in front of the moolavar and create a false deity which can be destroyed. All this needed time so these 12000 devotees prevented the invaders army by standing in front of it without any weapons but giving their life’s to protect the deity of the temple. So the moolavar that we worship today is there because of our ancestors who gave up their lives.
⁃ Marudhu Sagotharargal declared the decry of Indpendance for Bharath “ jambutheevu pragadnanm “ in our very own malakotai and they stuck a note calling everyone to fight Britishers. Britishers were furious but they couldn’t catch them, they announced that if they don’t surrender they will attack kalayar kovil with beerangis, hearing this marudhu sagothorargal surrendered themselves knowing that they will be hanged to death, they gave up their lives saving the Temple and God whom they revered more than their lives and prayed that the God will help bring freedom to our country!!
Will we wake up from our slumbers ?
⁃ Do we know why we still get moorthis when we dig the ground have we ever thought about it ?!?! Because our ancestors buried them during these raids and attacks believing that in the future our sons and daughters will bring this back up and restore it in its original glory. But are we doing that today ?!?! Aren’t we letting people steal these moorthys today ?
Of course like I mentioned before present day Indian muslims have no connection with these atrocities but as a society as a wounded civilization how do we heal from the ravage and plunder and rape and loot that we were subjected to ?!?!
There should be a truth and reconciliation commission set up soon after independence to address all the atrocities tell the truth and way forward. But instead all we got was false narrative from Marxist historians who hated Hindu culture and religion!! We all grew up studying falsehoods about Turkic Mughal invasions and falsehoods about British atrocities.
The destruction of all this has been recorded by Mughal and Turkic court historians as a document of pride of their victory and value and courage in destroying idol worshippers. Thank God for them they did a good job otherwise we will have temples for invaders erected by these sadistic physco Marxist historians. These historians have committed more injustice than the barbaric foreigners who ravaged our country.

“to provide education of the church to the poor, who on the verge of a revolution, tends to dissent or rebel against the ruler. Doing this was the simplest way to prevent a revolution from happening rather than thwart those who revolted“
Generations of Coconuts:
Success to the Britishers and marxist historians, 1000 years of revolt by our ancestors are not known to their very own children’s. We are what we call coconuts brown outside and white inside, what Macaulay wanted to achieve according to British parliamentary records he has achieved it. And here again were we asking for all of the temples to be restored ?!?! We have very few that are considered as holiest of holy places Ayodhya Kashi and Mathura. Ayodhya is where Bhagwan Shri Ram was born Mathura is where Bhagwan Shri Krishna was born and Kashi is where we have our Jyotirlinga which is believed to have been planted by Bhagwan Shiva himself. Out of 40,000 temples that were destroyed asking only 3 temples is a very fair ask and a regular Indian Muslim doesn’t have any problem with it except the politicians who wants to create trouble and make it into an issue in order for them to obtain power and money!!
The author is right only on one account the mere coinage of the title “Two Hindus”. But he didnt get either one of them right.

For example when someone says “patta, nammam, Govinda ellam pochu, kavadi thookatha, motai potutanda, panam swaha ayiduchu, viboothi adichitanda.”
When they see a Christian wearing a cross and going to church or a Muslim wearing a cap or burqa they say they are very religious but when a Hindu goes to temple he is called “palam undakati vangi thina poran” and make a mockery out of that!! Yes we do have two kinds of Hindus unfortunately !!
